Hi all,

Ali, I appreciate the update. Please publish your current development
milestones and perhaps a "what needs to be done."
I will have time next week to devote a good 40 hours towards
completing the project. ToriOS users should expect full documentation
support by the release date.
This is great news!!
At this time then I won't focus on building documentation for building
the operating system itself (and ISOMaker) as that was my project last
week but haven't been able to complete it. I'll now focus all my
attention on the Ubuntu-base release.
I recently updated the ISOmaker program
You can run it in setup mode via
./ISOmaker -s precise
OR
./ISOmaker --setup precise
This will work for jessie and trusty as well
to set it up if you do not have a tarball.
This makes all the initial happenings (making the base debootstrap tar,
and downloading all the debs for building the ISO) without making an ISO
and will not require the tarball to be made.
ToriOS 1 docs will be published here. [1] I'm currently working on a
few chapters locally, so do not judge the quality of this repos yet
until the end of next week (26th).
I imagine the Debian base may be the future focus as future Ubuntu
releases won't support our goals. But we could make ToriOS a
reproducible build in the future. [2]
