Hi Israel,

I could start testing tonight :-)

1. How should I use Software Installer? I selected some program names in 
the small window, but nothing happened. After update/upgrade the 
software installer looks better - but after a number of small windows, I 
failed to install geany, iotop, synaptic, but succeeded with apt-get.

2. There are double Imagemagick entries in the menu - and they don't 
work. This bug has affected the Ubuntu flavours of Xenial too,

Fixed :-)

Still there. After installation, when I accept reboot, the system simply 
goes to reboot without making a pause and prompting me to unplug the USB 
pendrive.
completely as it should.

4.1 It works well with the SSD connected internally.

4.2 Now it works with the SSD connected via USB 3. But it finds only 
itself for the grub menu. I have to run

sudo update-grub

to connect to the other installed systems. So it works, but not well.
