Re: New testing ISO

Hi Israel,

I didn't try to detect or check this in the Live session. I found it in the Installed session. The /etc/hosts file looks the same in Live and Installed.

Regards,

JackT.

Hi Jack,
(continuing top)
Thanks for finding this. I think I can fix this one easily if it is as I suspect. This is for the live session, right?

Hi Israel,

Installed new .iso in VB.

1) typing 'sudo' causes message "sudo: unable to resolve host torios"

2) seems to be caused (maybe?) by entry in /etc/hosts file "127.0.1.1 israeldahl-ThinkPad-E560"

Hi all,

There is a new ISO for testing. This one should work fine with USB.
The network might work in this one too... it is oversized.

Please test the jwm-settings-manager.

Test every single part of it that you can, and if you encounter a bug
please tell me:

a) how to reproduce the bug

b) re-run the settings manager with `jwm-settings-manager --debug >>
jsm-debug.log` and reproduce the error, and then send the log.

c) describe how you found the bug and what you did to produce the error.

d) what happened that was wrong, and what you had expected to happen.

Also, if any elements of the UI are unclear, or you think should be
modified please send a screen shot and describe the issue.

I have tested things pretty thoroughly myself, but I am a programmer,
and this is my program so I am not able to test it as a user like you can.

Thank you!
