[Blueprint torios-team-structure] The Structure of ToriOS Team and the Roles

Blueprint changed by amjjawad:

Whiteboard changed:
[amjjawad] I think we already have great people on some roles :)
If you find yourself up to these roles, please edit the Whiteboard and state clearly that 'you' are interested in 'specific role' and save the whiteboard, please - thank you :)

[dbyentzen] To Ali and the community, I would like to offer myself as Marketing Lead/Driver as I assume that this position would lead and guide social media, marketing, and possibly recruitment. Feed back is appreciated.

[amjjawad] [RE: dbyentzen] You do have my +1 for this, no doubt about it. Since we all agreed that this is a community based project and every decision will be taken based on (+1, -1, 0) policy, I gave you my vote already :D and by the way, I don't think I will overload this position with recruitment. Let's talk about that later but the recruitment for this project will be each and everyone's task. Everyone will recruit for this project, not one person in specific. However, each Leader/Driver will recruit people for his/her team to begin with. He/She is the only one who knows what exactly it takes to finish task A, B, etc. I hope this make sense?

[zleap] I can do some of the documentation in LaTeX but don't feel confident enough to be lead for the whole documentation, maybe there could be
  documentation lead:
  wiki lead and developers
  manual lead and developers

with some sort of central repository for all things relating to this.

As I have made a start on this it may help with recruitment as it shows the sort of thing we are looking to develop.

[amjjawad] @everyone: please make sure to update 'this' Whiteboard and 'not' the description of the blueprint ;)
  Thank you!

[amjjawad] @Everyone: if everyone is happy with the current roles (7 filled out of proposed 10 roles) and no one has any objections? suggestions? ideas? feedback? etc? then, the current structured will be approved be me as the project leader of ToriOS. Please keep in mind that no further action to this project to be taken UNLESS we approve the roles (leads/drivers) and 'announce' that.
Once that is done, everything else can start 'later on'. The highest priority for each Driver/Leader is recruiting: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/torios/+spec/recruit-contributors
And that is why, I asked everyone to finish this blueprint (election of leaders/drivers) before anything else. As I mentioned from day one, each driver will be in charge of recruiting people to his/her department.

[amjjawad] For ToriOS Forums, I shall be your point of contact for any Technical Issues on the Forums + William as well. Both of us will take care of the Technical Side of the Forums. Later on, we shall ask for more help (Moderators) but 'not' for now. Thank you!

[israeldahl] Jack and I have talked about the artwork, and are
collaborating on the logo, so I will (unless someone objects) take the
lead artwork, and Jack has said he'd be willing to contribute as well.
So this will get everything except Tech support. If need be, I can help
with this area as well, but I do not think I can be lead for 2 things.
But if need be for the time, I can try to do both (since Technical
Support wont 'really' begin until the OS is in an Alpha stage) though
I'd rather not take too much on, as I am involved with other projects
  right now...

[jeanmarc-gailis] If you need a Translation Team leader, let me know.

[amjjawad] [RE: jeanmarc-gailis] I thought you were interested to do that for Ubuntu GNOME?

[jeanmarc-gailis] About ToriOS, I found the idea through your community on G+, and I liked so much the idea, that I decided to help you on, for me, the most important part: bringing it to the End-User. As for Ubuntu GNOME, Yes, I am still interested as well.

[amjjawad] [RE: jeanmarc-gailis] I have edited your entry because this is not Ubuntu GNOME Blueprint ;)
I don't mind that you take the lead of translations if ToriOS team approve that ;) we highly believe in 'votes' and while I am the founder of this project, I can't decide unless the whole team agree or at least the majority. This is one of the strong point of this project. Everything should be based on voting :)

  You have my +1

[gsilva] Since I'm the youngest, I can't vote on any approvals so far but I know you guys know what you're doing, so everything seems pretty good.
As I mentioned in another Blueprint, I can help marketing/communications teams, documentations and translations. I don't know if I should be any sort of leader since I'm quite new to launchpad and this is the first project I'm taking for the start. I've translated a lot of lines before for other Ubuntu distributions, but that was it.

  [amjjawad] sadly, [f-jack] has resigned:

"Ali, I apologize. I don't really have time for ToriOS."

- That said, we can only wish f-jack a very good luck and our doors are always opened for him in case he wishes to come back. And, we do need to find a QA Lead ...
