live-build

Hi everyone,
I have come across something that I wish I had known about a long while
back :)
http://live.debian.net/manual/current/
I think this will help us to make a much more professional live CD system.
Eventually we can host all the configurations on github and simply
update those for newer versions.
However I have just begun to study this, so it will be a while before I
know if it is fully possible to do what we intend to with it.

Basically this is an automated live-cd building program. You have to
hand configure some files, but it seems fairly straight forward, and robust.
called... live-build

I think this is likely how many of the actual distro flavours build
their images. I think it will be very good to look into.
As Jörn pointed out the other day, we do not need to reinvent any
wheels. Of course the script building process made me understand more
fully what we need.
And it will suffice until we progress further. I already understand our
build system, and would rather finish the current ISO fully, than learn
how to build it all over again, unless it becomes absolutely needed.

This is something very good to find. But it will not work with OBI, as
I understand it. Though, it may be possible to force it to use OBI, I
just do not fully know if that is possible or not.
I also need to find out if we can still use PPAs for this method. From
my initial few chapters of reading, I found that we can use custom apt
repositories, so it should work as we like.
