Re: [Torios-dev] 693MiB

But Israel,

The network indicator of nm-applet is there in the installed system's panel also after update & dist-upgrade, so I would not blame Gnome.

Hi All,
I can live without the indicator, try running
nm-applet
from a terminal....
network manager is there for sure, but the icon no longer shows up.
Not sure what to do, I think GNOME broke compatibility with yet another
thing...

Hi toriosadores,

It works to install at the basic OBI level :-)

I tried the OBI-intaller with

'Partition drives and install alongside current OS'

and it works too, like it did in the previous daily iso file.

I tried zmktbl to make a tarball of a tweaked system and to restore it
with the OBI-installer. It works :-)

But I have not tested other things. So we need *your* test results -
please test all possible ways to use ToriOS live and installed. This
is close to the released version.

Hi Jack and Israel,

+1: Latest zsync Live Session in VB: no nm-applet or Volume Indicator in
top panel; instead I observe a Run and Locate icon(s).

I'll continue testing ...

Best regards
Nio
