@mzanetti  its not just the launcher, if you're viewing the Apps scope,
and have loads of running apps screen shots there it is quite a bit
slower compared to the virgin image. Also, the spread itself is quite a
bit slower in comparison as well as more app screen shots are added -
I'm wondering if this is due to updating the previews?
