@kgunn, yep, my observations too. Nothing to do with the launcher. So we
don't have screenshots in the spread any more. Its the real apps. Still,
the apps are frozen so they shouldn't update the surfaces in the spread
anyways. I rather think its the rendering engine, given that not only
the spread is slower, but also other things, like the dash and the
launcher.

Anyways, I guess we can close this as duplicate of bug #1337904 then.
