  "Split Screen" with latest ubuntu kernel update

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  ### Symptom ###
  Since, the latest automatic update via Update Manager, the screen is mirrored horizontally three times. Please, find the attached screen shot.

  ### Hint ###
  According to the following source an incompatibility between vmware, may be its graphics driver and the kernael 3.2.0-64-generic seem to be reproducable:
