Bug description:
3 Oct comment:
In the messaging overview, the tick will also appear to the right. The content will be shifted to the left, and there should be a 1 GU gap between the time stamp and the dark area (selection tick). As for the messaging text preview, it will be cropped and covered by the selection.

Design comment: Multi selection should include a 'tick' to the right of the list item. This pattern can be applied across all telephonya apps where selection is required.

In the messaging app if you have some already existing conversations and you pull out the toolbar and tap select item and then click on any of the message conversation there is no way to if that item is selected or not, if you hit the delete button it will actually be deleted.
1. open the messaging app and make sure you have atleast one message thread visible
2. pull out the toolbar and tap 'select'
3. tap on a message thread
What happens:
The message thread gets selected but there is no visual difference for us to know if it really is selected. The user only knows that when the delete button is tapped.
What should happen:
When a thread is selected there should atleast be a 'tick' icon there to show that the item is really selected.
