Title:
alternate install sets up biosdevname by default
Status in “biosdevname” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Status in “ubuntu-meta” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Hi,
Please create a symbolic link between ethernet interfaces from "p1p1"
to "eth0".
dmesg | grep eth0
[ 0.614926] systemd-udevd[102]: renamed network interface eth0 to p1p1
Because it breaks too much software. Add "biosdevname = 0" in grub is
not a good solution.
