  Unity has no simple keyboard shortcut to alt+tab through windows on
  all desktops

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: unity

  Trying to tab through windows across multiple desktops does not appear
  to have a shortcut on Unity. In the past on the desktop ubuntu
  Ctrl+Alt+Tab allowed you to do this, however in Unity this simply
  brings up a window entitled 'Mutter' with a broken icon on the
  switcher and an ugly black box in the top left hand corner of the
  screen, something which I think should be fixed. If such a shortcut
  exists I'd like to know it, and if one doesn't then it seems like
  basic functionality which should be included.
