Title:
Launcher doesn't reliably reveal if set to auto-hide
Status in Unity:
Confirmed
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Just upgraded from Oneiric to Precise. Now when I set the unity
launcher to auto-hide, it will hide well, but to reveal it I have to
repeatedly bump my mouse into the left edge. Usually the left edge
will just show a little darkish flash effect but no launcher appears.
I'd say it appears about 25% or 30% of the time, the rest I only get
this flash effect.
Usining nvidia-current drivers, Unity 3D, all packages current as of
this moment. I'm not using twinview, there is only one monitor (CRT by
way of DVI-to-5xBNC adapter) connected to the GTX 260 card. Therefore
I think it's not a duplicate of #938227.
