Title:
Unity freezes for few seconds when showing up Guake (F12) window

Status in Unity:
  Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 13.04 x86_64, GeForce 8400M GS 256MB with 310.44 (and same with
  older)

Every time I want to lauch Guake terminal (F12 hot-key) desktop
freezes for fews seconds. Cannot move or click anything, System Load
  Indicator does not repaint.

After Guake successfully shows up I can see 100% CPU usage history in
System Load Indicator for that "blackout".

I submitting this as Unity bug because I have experienced similar
effect after resizing (maximizing) some other windows I cannot
  currelty recall.

In fact, this problem appeard on 12.10 (I am not sure about 12.04
though), I waited for this release hoping it will go away as tempolar
  glitch.

Interesint thing is that nividia-settings states:
"Used Dedicated Memory: 123 MB (96%)"
Maybe I just lack some "power"?
