Title:
Dash message telling things are not found flickers and disappears
Status in Unity:
Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
In dash if you enter e.g. "thisisatest" in the "Home" dash lens the
message "Sorry, there is nothing that matches your search" appears and
then disappears. If you press some button now then the message will be
displayed but then will disappear again after 2 seconds (by design?).
The flickering part is not really user-friendly as it took me several
attempts to capture what the message was saying. I also believe the
message should not disappear because if nothing was found and the
search is over, new items won't majically appear in that space so it
should clearly state there are no items.
