Bug description:
  Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal with ppa:unity-team/release

  Issue : Gedit application always opens 2 instances when

  Action:-
  -Have the gedit application on launcher
  - Left click on gedit application launcher icon -  this will open 1 gedit window
  - Right click on gedit application launcher icon, click on "Open a new window" option

  Observe: - The new gedit window opened will have 2 gedit tabs
  indicating 2 gedit instaces have been opened inside 1 gedit window.

  Additional info - This issue happens only from the 2nd attempt
  onwards. First gedit window opened always has just 1 gedit tab. Only
  the 2nd attempt onwards, all attempts to open a new gedit window using
  right click on launcher icon will result in 2 gedit instances (2 tabs)
  inside 1 gedit window being opened.
