Bug description:
  Week 32: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal (Radeon GPU) with ppa:unity-team/staging

  Icon present on launcher for an opened application stays on launcher
  even after the previously opened application is closed. After a delay
  of few minutes the icon for the recently closed application
  disappears.

  See screenshot: It shows the Gedit icon with arrows indicating an open
  gedit application. This screenshot is taken after closing the gedit
  application showing that the gedit icon stays on the launcher even
  after the application is closed.
