Title:
Double-click on icon in launcher fails when using vertically stacked
monitors
Status in Unity:
Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
unity 3.8.16-0ubuntu on Ubuntu 11.04. Intel graphics driver in Lenovo X201s laptop. External monitor, tried several types with DVI or VGA connection.
# uname -a
Linux xx.uninett.no 2.6.38-13-generic #53-Ubuntu SMP Mon Nov 28 19:33:45 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
How to reproduce: Place external screen above laptop, and arrange monitors accordingly in 'Monitors'.
Double-click an icon in the launcher to the left that has several windows open.
What should have happened: Large icons for all windows of the
application should have appeared, and clicking on one icon should have
raised and selected that window.
What does happen: Tiny icons for all windows of the application
appear, at the border between the monitors. Clicking on one icon has
no effect.
