  icon to indicate trash state

Bug description:
  Right now, it looks like the Trash icon from the always visible left
  side "launcher" stays the same even if the trash is empty or it
  contains deleted items.

  It would be nice if the Trash icon can hint users regarding the Trash
  bin state by using 2 different icons.

  Also, it would be nice if the Trash icon could also display (at leas
  on hover) the total size of the deleted items. When a disk is full,
  this can help users decide if emptying the trash would help, or they
  need to look for deleting files from other locations.
