Title:
Middle clicking top panel should push maximized window to background
Status in Unity:
Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Now that it is possible in Unity to drag maximized windows down to
restore them, it should also be possible to arrange them using the
middle click mouse button on the top panel to push maximized windows
to the background.
This feature has been present in Ubuntu for a long time already, but
the introduction of Unity and the changes its brought have left a
small gap here.
Middle clicks to the top panel when it is displaying information for a
window that is not maximized should be ignored (since the user can
middle click in the windows title bar instead), or maybe just push a
maximized window that is already below the focused window even further
back.
