Just done the same on my desktop (connected by ethernet whereas laptop
is connected by wireless). That showed the printer under 'Web Site' sub-
section & printer is able to print from it. Both computers run 64 bit
Trusty.

  CUPS cannot find a networked printer

Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Using Trusty, printing to a printer (attached to my router) was OK.
  however since about a week ago, printing  fails i.e. nothing happens.
  Deleting the printer & trying to Add it again results in the printer
  no longer being shown in the Add Printer dialog. Ping 192.168.101.20
  is OK.
