Title:
OSK does not appear intermittently in various text input fields
Status in “webbrowser-app” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in “webbrowser-app” source package in Saucy:
Invalid
Bug description:
mako 20131017
TEST CASE:
1. Launch browser and navigate to google.com and select maps
2. When asked to allow location request, select "Allow" option
3. Enable "Location detection" and "GPS" from location indicator menu
4. Leave the device to obtain a GPS fix. This can take up to 15 mins for a cold start and must be near a window. Also leave the device in active state using command "powerd-cli display on bright"
5. Once a GPS fix has been obtained and position shown on Google maps press on the Navigation icon (3rd icon from right)
6. Tap in either the Start Address or End Address fields
EXPECTED RESULT:
The OSK should load to allow the user to input their required location
ACTUAL RESULT:
The OSK does not load and the user is not able to input their required location.
I have noticed that if the device does not have a location fix, then
the OSK will appear as expected. This behaviour only seems to happen
if a location is available.
