[Bug 1335464] Re: Unable to print from evince (Canon iP4950)
No, the printer does nothing. As I explained, this is not a problem with
the connection as the test page prints fine and I can also print fine
from Firefox. I noticed it was reporting everything as having printed
fine, which is why I was so confused and unable to find any useful
debugging info.

Title:
Unable to print from evince (Canon iP4950)
Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I am on Linux Mint 16 (based on Ubuntu 13.10). I have a Canon iP4950
printer with gutenprint drivers (Canon PIXMA iP4900 - CUPS+Gutenprint
v5.2.9).
I can print a test page fine, but when I try and print a PDF from
evince it fails silently with a success message. Following the
instructions from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems I
have generated some log output which I am attaching. I'm also
attaching the original PDF that I am trying to print (a web page that
I exported using 'print to file').
