[Bug 1319626] Re: Ubuntu One Captcha too hard to enter correctly
I also faced this issue. The captchas in Ubuntu software center are
absolutely hard to crack. You can try creating account thru browser. It
seems we get easier captchas in the browser.

Title:
Ubuntu One Captcha too hard to enter correctly
Status in “ubuntuone-client-data” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I tried to create a new Ubuntu One while setting up the Sofware Center
"suggested apps" (which required an Ubuntu One account) and ended
frustated.
The Captcha is really hard, I gave up on the account creation after 10
tries, I'm a male on my twentys with normal vision and could not
decipher the Captcha.
Not even 4***.org captchas gives me troubles as those on the Ubuntu
One register page.
I suggest to improve the captchas so they're not so difficult to read,
I can just imagie my dad would just close that window if he saw such a
hard captcha.
