[Bug 1357327] Re: One app blocks anothers access to sensors

I see this too. I have been playing with sensors in a click package and
see that when it is open (even in the background), rotation doesn't work
in other apps.

** Changed in: usensord (Ubuntu)

One app blocks anothers access to sensors

Status in “usensord” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  To reproduce.

  1. Open System settings, rotate device, verify that rotation works
  2. In the app store, install "SensorsStatus" (a community app which displays data from various device sensors)
  3. Start SensorsStatus, observe data appearing in the default "Accelerometer" tab
  4. Switch to System Settings, rotate device, verify rotation no longer works
  5. Swipe in from the right, and swipe away SensorsStatus to kill it
  6. Switch to System Settings, rotate device, verify rotation works again

Tested on mako and flo #189 and #190.
