[Bug 1254976] Re: Samsung M262X USB Printer fails to print in Ubuntu 13.10
Why don't you use the recommended Samsung M262x 282x PXL driver included
with Ubuntu, it should automatically get set up with this driver.
** Changed in: cups (Ubuntu)

Title:
Samsung M262X USB Printer fails to print in Ubuntu 13.10
Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Samsung M262C M282C Series Printer connected by USB under Ubuntu 13.10
fails to print even after installing the Samsung Universal Linux
Driver V1.00.06. This appears to be a Ubuntu 13.10 problem because the
printer and the driver work fine under Centos.
Under Ubuntu 13.10, initiating a "printer self-test page" from the
printer administrative console causes a page to be printed with the
diagnostic "If you can read this, you are using the wrong driver for
your printer" along with some code.
