Bug description:
  I'm still seeing complaints from valgrind about HttpClient and
  SmartScopesClient. It seems that at least some of these are bogus and
  we probably need to add more suppressions. Running "make valgrind"
  shows the problem for me. (Note that this adds a few extra options to
  valgrind, in particular, --leak-check=full seems to be necessary to
  see the problem. (I'm using valgrind 3.9.0 because earlier versions
  produce bogus race resports with helgrind.)
