[Bug 1352450] Re: apport-retrace should indicate that -s and -o don't work together

This bug was fixed in the package apport - 2.14.6-0ubuntu1

---------------
apport (2.14.6-0ubuntu1) utopic; urgency=medium

  * New upstream bug fix release:
    - general-hooks/generic.py: Fix hook crash if there are non-distro
      libraries and no user interface.
    - collect_info(): Don't assume that reports have a ProblemType. Fixes
      crashes with apport-collect. (LP: #1325729)
    - apport-retrace: Declare -s/-g/-o as mutually exclusive, to get proper
error messages instead of silent misbehaviour. (LP: #1352450)
    - apport-gtk: Drop usage of deprecated GTK stock items. (LP: #1348116)

Title:
apport-retrace should indicate that -s and -o don't work together

Status in “apport” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
If you use apport-retrace with the -s switch (Write the new stack
traces to stdout instead of putting them back into the report) with
the -o switch (Write modified report to given file instead of changing
the original report) the -s switch will take precedence and the
modified report will not be created. If you don't know this it can be
quite confusing as you'll end up looking for the report you passed
with the -o option and wonder where it went.

Either apport-retrace should warn you that -s takes precedence or it
should write to stdout and the given file.
