  Can't add or remove a FilterOption after inital load

Bug description:
  The add_option method to add a FilterOption doesn't get rendered if
  done after initial setup of the filters.  I would expect to be able to
  grab the Filter and add an option at anytime.

  There is no method to remove an option, which is also needed.
