Title:
Windows not brought to front if one application is launched from
  another

Status in compiz package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
In some cases windows are not brought to front if one application is
launched from antoher. Launcher icon of the app being lauched shakes
but its windows is being opened in background. That requires from
users an extra unnecessary click on a launcher icon or a switch using
  Alt-tab to complete the action.

  Examples

  I. Firefox launching Nautilus

  Reproduction steps:
  1. Download a file
  2. Open download list in Firefox
  3. Right click on a download
  4. Select Open containing folder
  5. Nautilus icon in laucher shakes but window is not brought to front

  II. Chrome lauching Nautilus

  Reproduction steps:
  1. Download a file
  2. Open download list in Chrome (Ctrl-J)
  3. Click on a Show In Folder option on a downloaded file
  4. Nautilus icon in laucher shakes but window is not brought to front

III. Firefox launching Transmission (Transmission must be installed)

  Reproduction steps:
  1. Click on a Torrent Magnet link on a website in Firefox
  2. Transmission lauches and new download dialog is being show in background. Transmission icon shakes but its window is not brought to front

Most likely other apps and scenarios are also affected.
