Title:
Disabling web search in privacy options stops file indexing and
disables web-independent scopes
Status in Unity:
Invalid
Status in unity package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
If I go to privacy settings and unckeck button "Show results from web
in Dash" (smth like that, my ubuntu isn't English), files, located on
my computer won't be listed in search results. Well, if I search some
files before unchecking this option I will see them, because they are
in cache or in index. But new searches won't be succesful, I would see
only apps. Also calculator and onther web-independent scopes are
becoming disabled.
Ubuntu 14.04 with the latest Updates, unity 7.2, but affects 7.1 too.
