[Bug 1498080] Re: mediascanner in a crash loop
The result of this was the watchdog would see the crashes and reboot the
device:-
Sep 21 17:29:43 ubuntu-phablet session-watchdog: 'mediascanner-2.0'
(instance '') hit respawn limit - asking logind to reboot
To disable mediascanner as a workaround:-
echo manual >> ~/.config/upstart/mediascanner-2.0.override

Bug description:
On my rc-proposed krillin, mediascanner is crashing constantly, this
causes apport to run and is eating up my cpu and thus battery. I can't
find any log that's got any clues.
