[Bug 1498381] [NEW] journald 100% CPU and fill the drive

Public bug reported:

Hi,

Sometimes journald takes 100% of the CPU and fill my drive entirely in a
few minutes if I don't stop it.

It began just after Ubuntu 15.04 installation, stopped a few months ago,
and re-appeared yesterday.

If I look in /var/log/syslog, I get thousands of messages repeating
these two lines :

gnome-session[1671]: page: Error: /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/tfm/public/cm/cmr10.tfm: File corrupted, or not a TFM file
gnome-session[1671]: page: Warning: font `cmr10' not found, trying metric files instead

If I restart journald (sudo systemctl restart systemd-journald), the
problem disappears.

Do not hesitate to ask if I can provide more information.

Thanks for your time and work,
Yvan
