  XORG crashed after waking up from sleep

Bug description:
  Laptop: HP DM1Z
  Xubuntu 14.04

  I close the lid to enter a sleep state. When I come back, I open the
  lid an the unlock screen appears. I enter my password, press enter,
  then screen goes blank. The display shows nothing and the back light
  appears to switch off. Next, the laptop reboots.
