[Bug 1357262] [NEW] GeForce 8800 crash: nouveau DATA_ERROR INVALID_VALUE

I've installed a fresh x64 Trusty 14.04.1 LTS.

In dmesg I get:

then after a while the screen freezes, the mouse pointer won't move to
the second monitor and Ctrl-Alt-F1 won't switch to the text mode. Only
solution is to switch it off.

The compuer works fine in the text mode.

It's a dual monitor setup.
