Bug description:

  Segmentation fault

  1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu.

  FWIW the same behavior (segmentation fault) occurs using the 3.1.8
  package downloaded from virtualbox.org
