[Bug 1500824] Re: [camera] Video stops recording on incoming call

Thanks for filing this.

The suggestion discussed on the mailing list sounded best to me.

Video continues filming is until the call is accepted. If the
notification is ignored or dismissed, the filming isn't interrupted.

Title:
[camera] Video stops recording on incoming call

Status in Ubuntu UX:
  Fix Committed
Status in camera-app package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
While recording at a sports event a few days ago, I received an
incoming call. I declined to take the call, but the recording had
stopped all the same, and I lost the most important few seconds of the
  race.

The desired behavior, if I could choose, would be to let the phone
continue recording while the user decides whether to accept the call.

Then, if the user declines the call, continue recording and switch
back to the camera app (no interruptions in the recording), but

if the user accepts the call, interrupt the recording and take the
  call instead.

  Best regards,
  Ari
