This also is not working for me with the latests updates of Aquarius E5 as of 1st October 2015

Status in dialer-app package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  From the "Call log" when you click on the plus sign image of un unknown number to create a new contact or add to an existing one, touching "Add to existing contact" does nothing.
  I should expect "contacts" open for adding the number to an existing contact.
