I deleted and formated the Hard drive went back to 13.10 got all the updates and installed Wine
Quicken never got a chance to load I got a small black screen and that is as far as it got ( I copied the files over to the folder called Quicken made the install a program that was executable ) just as before and small black screen for about 1/2 a second and it just quit

Title:
  Wine apps not working properly

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Whenever I open a Wine program, components are missing. For example, I
installed malwarebytes, and got a popup stating that the Anti Rootkit
DDA Driver failed to download. I've followed all troubleshooting
advice, but it still fails to download. Also, having trouble with my
archive manager. It doesn't seem to archive downloaded packages as it
  should. Using Ubunto 14.04 LTS.
