[Bug 1499311] Re: scroll wheel locks computer up.

Christopher Wesley Joyner, were there any crash files in /var/crash?

If not, could you please SSH into the machine immediately after it
crashes and capture the xorg backtrace and/or call trace via
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSystemCrash ?

Title:
  scroll wheel locks computer up.

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
At random times the scroll wheel will cause the computer to
freeze/lock up. For a moment there is a change in the way the desktop
looks, but I cannot tell what it was that changed. Computer will not
respond. Harddrive seems to be quiet. I can move the mouse pointer
around but it will then disappear.

It has crashed in firefox and also blender 2.76rc1.
