Title:
Incorrect status of downloaded bytes while upgrading
Status in Aptdaemon:
Fix Released
Status in apt package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Distribution
========
OS Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release: 10.10-alpha1-amd64
System Architecture: amd64
Package
======
aptdaemon
Version: 0.31+bzr412-0ubuntu1
Bug Description
============
When the update manager starts to "update", i.e. starts to download packages, it shows incorrect status.
Once a particular package (lets say of size N kB) has been downloaded,
the progress bar corresponding to it reflects the status correctly
showing 100%. However, the textfield beside the proogressbar shows
"Downloaded 0B of N kB" which is evidently incorrect. This is
conspicuous in the attached screenshot.
