[Bug 1502145] Re: rc-proposed r140, krillin: screen does not blank after timeout expires

 

after gdb to usc we found the culprit is the webbrowser-app, suspecting
the new feature to play in the background added to oxide

Bug description:

  There are times when it seems the display blanking policy stops
  working and the display stays on until I press the power button.

  Steps to reproduce:
  None, sorry

  Expected outcome:
  the display is switched off after a predetermined amount of time

  Actual outcome:
  The display stays on forever
