[Bug 1442597] Re: No support for tiff images
tiff is supported by gstreamer base packages afaik so this should work,
does gallery need to advertize its support?

Title:
No support for tiff images
Status in Canonical System Image:
Incomplete
Status in gallery-app package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
A friend on a mac sent me a tiff image (of their desktop) in the
Telegram app. Apparently with a common screen grab utility. It could
not be rendered because Ubuntu Touch doesn't ship with support for the
tiff image format.
That couldn't be super difficult to add to the image, and would be
nice. It's not a super common format, but it isn't unheard of in
everyday situations (like the above).
