[Bug 1359404] Re: Symbol page switch back should match other platforms
** Summary changed:
- cannot enter multiple exclamation marks with autocomplete on
+ Symbol page switch back should match other platforms
** Description changed:
- with autocomplete turned on, I cannot enter a sentence like:
+ Currently the automatic switch back from certain characters on the symbol page only happens with ? and !, this makes it difficult to type a sentence like:
"This is so awesome!!!!"
- After the first exclamation mark the word is autocompleted and space
- added. Maybe ! should be omitted from auto complete list?
+ We should check what other platform's keyboards do and match the keys
+ they automatically switch back on.
