I have observed this behaviour too, however, I will alter your Steps and
Expectations as below. Note: I have put the alterations in capitals to
differentiate only; I am not shouting ;-)

version custom: 20150602-731-5-32

Steps:
  1.open the dialer app
  2.input some numbers
  3.long press the numbers

Expectations:
  After step3#,the numbers should be chosen and there will be two options: copy, CUT, select

Actual result: after step3#, no options appear BUT ALL THE NUMBERS ARE
COPIED TO THE CLIPBOARD AND ARE AVAILABLE TO PASTE.

In fact, any text in another application that includes any numbers and
then long press on the number display area of the phone application, the
numbers in the clipboard are automatically pasted into the phone
application.

The functionality is nice and very useful, but there is absolutely no
indication or user feedback to indicate to the user that this has
happened.
