[Bug 1512861] [NEW] pin lock failed after changing password in terminal

 

Public bug reported:

The pin pad in the lock screen only accept four digits as password. Once
user change the password in the terminal using passwd command and the
new password is more than 4 characters, user can no longer be able to
log in as pin pad only accept four digits.
