[Bug 1514880] Re: If a song does not have an album art, quality of displayed note image is very low

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1324142 ***

The music app is not to blame here, it has no control over the fallback
image.

We are in the process of removing fallback images from the thumbnailer
(see bug #1324142). Fallback images should never have been part of the
thumbnailer in the first place because the thumbnailer has no idea which
application is talking to it, and the default image is application-
specific. (A music note image is not appropriate for a missing video.)

The relevant changes are mostly in the thumbnailer already but are
currently blocked on a few other changes that need to land before we can
turn this off in the thumbnailer proper. Once that happens, applications
and scopes can provide their own fallback image in whatever quality they
like.

Marking this as a duplicate of bug #1324142.

Title:
If a song does not have an album art, quality of displayed note image
  is very low

Status in Ubuntu Music App:
  Invalid
Status in thumbnailer package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I have some songs/albums which don't have its own image to show when
the song is being played. In that case there's a generic image
visible. Problem is that image does not look very good. See screenshot
  attached.
