  [TextField] The placeholderText does not apper when inputMask  is
  setted

Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  The inputMask makes the placehorlderText invisible even when the text
  property is empty.

  Example:
  TextInputDetail {
          height: units.gu(4)

          // this will never appears
          placeholderText: i18n.tr("Date of birth")
          inputMask: "09/09/9999"
  }

  
  WORKAROUND:
  TextInputDetail {
          height: units.gu(4)

          // this will never appears
          placeholderText: i18n.tr("Date of birth")
          inputMask: activeFocus ? "09/09/9999" : ""
  }
