[Bug 1514326] Re: There is no text in the circle on lock screen in new flashed device

 

I just checked this with Ben. It is not true that the phone should ever
complain "No data sources available", or "No videos recorded today", or
anything ridiculous like that.

This is surprising only for the few who have already used an Ubuntu
phone, so they're used to the previous behavior, but they haven't used
it since last flashing. That is, mainly testers. This is an intended
change in behavior, not something that should be reverted.

  Steps:
  1.Flash the device to 167 virsion
  2.Complete the welcome wizard
  3.Lock the screen and then press the power key to light up
  4.Check if there is any text in the circle

  Expectation:
  There should be like"No videos recorded today/No photos taken today" in the circle

  Actual  results:
  There is nothing in the circle

  For the time being, there should be a message "No data sources
  available" on first use
