Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Steps:
  * type a search term in the address bar

  Expected:
  * word prediction works as usual

  Current:
  * word prediction is disabled

  I imagine this might require some keyboard work as well.
